Competitive power suppliers are bringing the benefits of competition to all Americans.
EPSA member companies provide reliable, least cost electricity from environmentally responsible generation facilities using a diverse mix of fuels and technologies, including natural gas, storage, renewables (including wind, solar, biomass, geothermal, and hydropower), nuclear, and coal.
At the national level, EPSA members have invested in power generation facilities that today include more than 6,000 MW of capacity from renewable resources in addition to reliable and increasingly efficient natural gas plants.

Associate Members
In total, EPSA members own and operate about 150,000 MW of power generation capacity in regions with access to competitive wholesale electricity markets—spanning New England, New York, the Mid-Atlantic, the Midwest, Texas, the Southwest, and California.
Driven to innovate and serve customers, competitive power suppliers compete to provide Americans with reliable electricity at the least cost, while also making strides to reduce emissions and build clean energy resources. EPSA members have adopted emissions reductions goals, joined initiatives including the Climate Leadership Council, and supported tools such as carbon-pricing to help advance clean energy objectives.
