Stephanie Johnson
Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Affairs
As assistant vice president of regulatory affairs, Stephanie Johnson works on advocacy efforts supporting the continued improvement of competitive wholesale electricity markets at the federal and state levels. This includes the development of reasonable and durable regulatory policy to ensure that markets can continue to provide needed investment signals, operational and cost efficiencies, and reliability.
Prior to joining EPSA, Stephanie was the director of state energy and regulatory policy at Edison Electric Institute (EEI), where she advised investor-owned electric utilities on key legislative and regulatory matters and led outreach to governors, attorneys general, public utility commissions, and state energy offices. She also served as the executive director of the Chesapeake Solar and Storage Association, where she led advocacy initiatives on behalf of independent power producers and solar/storage developers across multiple states in the PJM footprint.
Stephanie has a Master of Arts in American Studies from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Indiana University.
