WASHINGTON, D.C. – The head of the Electric Power Supply Association (EPSA) congratulated Jennifer Granholm following her confirmation as U.S. Secretary of Energy today. EPSA President and CEO Todd Snitchler released the following statement:

“EPSA congratulates Jennifer Granholm on her confirmation as Secretary of Energy at this important time for our nation’s electric infrastructure.

Competitive power suppliers work to provide critical, least-cost electric generation resources to maintain a reliable, resilient and secure grid to power everyday life and our nation’s economic vitality.

We look forward to serving as a resource for Secretary Granholm and her staff as she carries out the Energy Department’s vital mission to protect and advance our nation’s essential energy infrastructure.”
