By Bill Zuretti

Date:               January 9, 2025

Venue:           Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission

Docket No.:  M-2024-3051988

Summary: EPSA filed Comments on the PA Public Utility Commission’s Technical Conference on Resource Adequacy. These comments draw from EPSA’s core messages and argue that markets have delivered enormous benefits for Pennsylvania and the broader PJM region while warning of the risks associated with a return to utility-owned generation These comments further state that while some reforms may be needed, core market elements should be retained while also outlining some of the hurdles that remain to building new resources.
