Pursuant to the process set out by NAESB’s Gas-Electric Harmonization Forum, EPSA voted on twenty recommendations developed by the Forum Chairs as informed by the year-long forum effort. Having opposed only three of the recommendations, EPSA submitted supplemental comments for the record to explain concerns with four of the twenty recommendations. As an active participant in the Forum at every stage, EPSA supports the vast majority of recommendations but emphasizes that it is critical that market-based mechanisms or products are developed and relied on to offer improved opportunities for generators to arrange for fuel supply and transportation on a timely basis, particularly during critical periods.
