EPSA Protest of MISO Transmission Customer Complaint (EL22-60)

By Bill Zuretti

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BEFORE THE FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION

Coalition of MISO Transmission Customers v. Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. } Docket No. EL22-60-000

PROTEST OF THE ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY ASSOCIATION

EPSA filed a Protest in opposition to the Complaint of the Coalition of MISO Transmission Customers, which seeks to allow load the ex-post ability to exit the MISO system without being charged for its PRA capacity obligation. This Protest outlines how granting this Complaint would set a terrible precedent – in MISO and beyond – and may harm reliability in the region going forward.
