EPSA Joins Letter to DOE: Utilizing the IRA to Support State-led Wholesale Electricity Market Efforts

By EPSA

Date: November 18, 2022

Venue: U.S. Department of Energy

On Friday, November 19, 2022, EPSA joined The Coefficient Group and more than 30 organizations in sending a letter to the U.S. Department of Energy. The letter points out a number of pieces of legislation passed in recent months, including the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), and urges the D.O.E. to utilize funding from the IRA and IIJA to help states advance new and existing wholesale electricity markets to enable cost-effective clean energy deployment while maintaining reliability for consumers.
