Competitive power suppliers provide efficient, reliable electricity at the least cost to New Jerseyans. They do so by investing in, building, and maintaining operations at their own economic risk. Competitive power suppliers operate all resources and technologies, including natural gas, coal, wind, solar, hydropower, geothermal, nuclear, biomass, and battery storage. They must innovate in order to compete in the market, benefiting customers through efficient, affordable power.
